Resident Evil 6 pre-order maps now available to all

I'm a college student with a huge passion for gaming; horror being my favorite genre. I like to write about games in my spare time. When I'm not writing, I'm playing or talking about them. Hopefully this continues into what ever future employment I find myself in.

The three pre-order only Mercenaries maps are now available to everyone. In a surprising twist, the maps are only $1.00 a piece! Capcom, this is such a surprise. I like it. Rawr.

Initially, I was a bit annoyed that two (I already have Catacombs) missing maps were visible on my Mercenaries menu but completely locked until they were to be sold off, but this ain’t too bad. I was expecting to pay about $5-7 for all three maps.

The Catacombs, Rail Yard, and High Seas Fortress maps can now be downloaded on PlayStation Network and Xbox live. I’ll be spending $2 as soon as possible. Mercenaries is my favorite mode in the game, so I’m glad I can extend that fun for a surprisingly low price. Time to kill some Gummies and Fatties (my own personal names for the Bloodshot and Whopper, respectively).

    CJ, Rail Yard is worth the purchase: High seas is a bit dull. I am hoping more players will now be on rail yard as that is my favourite after steel beast

    I found the 1 dollar price tag very suprising and relieving both. However, i did play re5 mercs a LOT, and the fact that i’m already dishing out money for maps is only annoying because, after purchasing them, i still have less maps than re5 gave.
