Check out Resident Evil 6′s split-screen co-op

CVG has just put up a new video showing off Resident Evil 6′s split-screen co-op. This was a feature that was lacking in the last major home console entry, Operation Raccoon City, but it will fortunately be included in Resident Evil 6. Hey, some of us like playing split-screen with a buddy next to us!

The video below shows some new footage from the three main scenarios, with part of a new cut-scene being shown from Leon’s scenario. So, again, don’t watch if you’d rather experience everything for yourselves.

Who’s excited to play Resident Evil 6 with a buddy? Or more importantly, how will you be playing it on your first playthrough: solo or co-op?

    People are just bitching too much. “I want” “This suxorz” “I’m a douche bag in my mother’s basement”…if you find THAT much to complain about a video game, you should shut off your console…go outside…and GET A FUCKING LIFE. Seriously. I am tired of these nerds whining so much because “this”, “that”, or “the other thing” is not EXACTLY what they want. Here’s a granduous idea…go work on a video game that is to your liking…then I will spend my time whining and bitching about how much you suck and your game sucks.

    god this game is going to rock Cant wait to get stuck into the new mercs mode with ada when I unlock her , I do wish capcom would start to include hunk into the main story again one day, instead of just adding him in mercs modes.

    This is going to be a split screen game for me.
    Nobody wants to buy it, so that’s the only way i’m getting co-op. Which is perfectly fine by me.

    I didn’t enjoy this local split-screen in RE:5 much either, it’s certainly not the worst split-screen I’ve ever played (I’m looking at you, Time Crisis 4). I’d like to play “locally” by having two consoles and two TVs next to one another with audio adjusted on one.

    Hmmm… maybe I should get working on that in my living room…

    Y isn’t it full screen split screen??? Like One screen for top player is not full or the bottom not full
