I'm a college student with a huge passion for gaming; horror being my favorite genre. I like to write about games in my spare time. When I'm not writing, I'm playing or talking about them. Hopefully this continues into what ever future employment I find myself in.

The Whispers in The Dark podcast records this weekend. We’re so excited! Are you?

As usual, leave us some questions in the comments so we’ll actually have something meaningful to talk about as opposed to our usual banter.

Whitney won’t make it this weekend, because she’s going to Halloween Horror Nights to experience the Silent Hill maze. Will she ever return? Probably not. I predict that she won’t want to leave and will become a permanent fixture of the attraction. I probably would too if I was going.

    I was wondering what you guys think about the crazy new Metal Gear Rising trailer from TGS!

    Another question that has recently come up in a conversation with a friend:
    Do you consider the Shin Megami Tensei series (including Persona) to be horror?

    Hi Guys!

    when it comes to survival horror games, do you prefer third person or first person perspective? which one makes you sense intense dread, makes you concerned more about your character and effectively pulls you in the game’s universe?

    1. Just wondering if you have all have watched Damnation yet? I did a few days ago and loved it :D I would really like if you did a commentary on it…so PLEASE!!!!! (I would imagine if you had issues with the way Ada is dressed in RE4 you would have a lot of problems here, hehe. Obviously you people know nothing about being fabulous…except maybe Whitney)

    2. What’s up with the comic? I loved the first 4 issues Rourke where’s issue 5: Trevor’s daughter?

    3. Um err…..I can’t really think of anything so….What order are you going to play the campaigns in RE6? I’m going with: Leon, Jake and then Chris. Then of-course the bitch in the red blouse, Ada :D

    Oh and CJ, don’t go hating on Nintendo just because Bayonetta 2 is a WiiU exclusive. Nintendo saved the game form being cancelled, so I can’t really hate them:

    Regarding Resident Damnation, Rourke has mentioned before that he didn’t like the way Leon was portrayed in the previous film (Resident Evil Degeneration), so I was wondering what he thought of Leon in Resident Evil Damnation?

    Does Resident Evil 6 make you appreciate Silent Hill: Downpour more? I can’t help but respect Tomm Hulett, Devin Shatsky, Vatra, and even Konami more because they still have faith in the survival horror genre, unlike Capcom.

    Question: Since RE6 is coming out soon do u think this will be the last time we will see these characters again? I thought RE5 was gonna b e the last since they Killed off Spoiler:Wesker.I played all the RE games and love all the characters in them I just don’t want Capcom to milk all these games with them. since they been fighting these Threats for so long. I just hope Capcom gives a peaceful if not decent Closure for them. So what do you think?
