Parasite Eve coming to PSN?

By now we all know that the third entry into the Parasite Eve Franchise (one that we’ve been waiting for quite a while now for) is headed to be a PSP exclusive.  No word on when it will be released, but until then, fans waiting to see Aya in action again might have something to tide them over.

For those of us who don’t speak Japanese, yesterday Square Enix tweeted from the Official 3rd Birthday Twitter page that fans should be patient as they are considering bringing [PE 1 and 2] to the PSN for the PS3 and PSP game consoles.

Right now it’s still just a rumour, just a possibility.  But video game fans are a dedicated, hopeful bunch.  We’ve certainly held out hope in the face of depressing odds…

Moving on.  Parasite Eve 1 and Parasite Eve 2 were often overlooked back when they were originally released for the PSOne.  Over the years they’ve received quite a following, they’d be perfect candidates for PSOne Classics, and the perfect bite of gaming to whet fans’ appetite for 3rd Birthday.  If and when Square Enix decides to bring Parasite Eve to the PSN for play on the Ps3 and PSP consoles, RoH will be there to bring you the scoop.
