Muraski Baby coming to Vita in September; features song by Akira Yamaoka

Ovosonico’s odd and Tim Burton-esque PlayStation Vita platformer has had its September release announced.

In which you lead a little girl with a balloon known as Baby across a dark and surreal world, Muraski Baby looks to be one interesting game. But looks aren’t the only thing to be excited about. Today it was revealed that Silent Hill composer, Akira Yamaoka will be contributing a track to the game.

Since departing Konami, Yamaoka has been working with Grasshopper Manufacture, the developers of Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer is Dead, and Shadows of the Damned. Murasaki Baby‘s director, Massimo Guarini, also worked on Damned under a directorial role.

I’d never argue against hearing more tunes from Yamaoka, so this game has definitely moved up on my ‘Interested In’ list.
