Legacy of Kain domain registered by Square Enix

I'm a college student with a huge passion for gaming; horror being my favorite genre. I like to write about games in my spare time. When I'm not writing, I'm playing or talking about them. Hopefully this continues into what ever future employment I find myself in.

WarForNosgoth.com–Nosgoth being the world in which the Legacy of Kain series takes place– has recently been registered by Square Enix. There’s currently nothing on the website, but its creation sparks some hope in seeing a follow up to the 2003 Legacy of Kane: Defiance. Are we going to finally see a new entry in this macabre series? I certainly hope so!

The Legacy of Kain series is one that I greatly admire for its story and aesthetics. The last game in the series released nine years ago. Since then, I’ve been waiting for a sequel to come out. Hopefully War for Nosgoth is that sequel. I had some good times playing Blood Omen 2 and Defiance. Hopefully Square Enix will reveal the return of Raziel and Kain sometime soon.

    Been waiting on a new game since I finished Legacy of Kain: Defiance. I hope that even if it’s a reboot they bring back Simon Templeman back as Kain :)

    Excellent game. Dreamcast port of soul Reaver was outstanding. Love the series. kain is a really great character. Blood omen 2 was great.

    yeeeeeeeees I love this series too much and really like vampires stories an for me this one of the bests and if it is developed by square enix…I will be looking forward to this game
