Latest ZombiU trailer showcases Buckingham Palace…with zombies!

I'm a college student with a huge passion for gaming; horror being my favorite genre. I like to write about games in my spare time. When I'm not writing, I'm playing or talking about them. Hopefully this continues into what ever future employment I find myself in.

ZombieU is one impressive looking game. I’m happy to see a visceral and scary game already on the WiiU’s lineup. Despite Nintendo being the family friendly console, they seem to get some of the best and freakiest horror experiences.

The latest trailer for ZombieU shows another random survivor trying to survive the zombie apocalypse. Instead of roaming around some gutter or abandoned building, this guy has chosen to kill zombies with style, in Buckingham Palace. Our survivor has to endure some horrible zombies and some fantastic decor.

ZombiU would be the game to get on the WiiU if you’re a horror fan. It seems to be a survivalist version of Left 4 Dead, and I approve. I just question how much of the WiiU’s features were needed for this game. From this trailer, most of the secondary tablet screen features seem unnecessary. Things that can easily be added onto the main screen, but no biggie. Developers needs time to fully utilize a new console’s features. ZombiU is looking to be quite the exciting game.

    This game looks like pure survival horror. This is what has been missing for years now on the ps3 and xbox 360. Can’t wait for this. One thing bothers me though about this game, does anyone know if you can hide in the game from zombies? Like hide in a dark corner or get inside a barrel or box? I haven’t seen that yet.

    Between you and me, this may be a system seller, sadly not to me since I can’t afford it, but it is really great, and throw back to the old hardcore survival horror, and even more harder.

    I hope we get a Zombie PS as well, I want to play it on my PS3, it will be so interesting.
