Via the Hotline Miami Twitter account comes the release timeframe for our second violent outing in the retro-pixelized Miami. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is set to release in the third quarter of 2014. That puts the game’s releases sometime between July and the end of September.
Hotline Miami 2 was originally set to be DLC for the first game, but developer Dennaton Games opted for a full blown sequel instead. I reviewed Hotline Miami and gave it the very favorable score of 9.5/10, calling it “brutal brilliance”. I wholeheartedly recommend it and can not wait for the sequel.
