“Home” seeking new platforms
Home is a horror game/murder mystery available on PC, which has done quite well for itself since its release in 2012. According to designer Benjamin Rivers, the title has reached more than 100,000 people worldwide. While I am not very economical, I think we can call that a pretty good success. Benjamin is now looking into expanding his turf with new platforms, though.
The current goal is to get the game to iOS and Mac, but there are also plans create an Android version. Those who are interested in the game can visit the website and vote for their systems of choice, which also means signing up for the newsletter. It has also been announced that owners of the original game can expect to see some new content coming their way. Players who were hoping for a console release will be a little disappointed, though, since none of the three major consoles has been listed as an option.
A release date has yet to be announced, but we’ll definitely keep an eye out for this one.
