Haunting Ground coming to PSN

I'm a college student with a huge passion for gaming; horror being my favorite genre. I like to write about games in my spare time. When I'm not writing, I'm playing or talking about them. Hopefully this continues into what ever future employment I find myself in.

Haunting Ground (Demento in Japan), Capcom’s survival horror game with a furry companion, will be arriving on Playstation Network as a Playstation 2 Classic. According to Siliconera, the ESRB have re-rated the game for a Playstation 3 release. With Primal, and the BloodRayne series also hitting PS2, I have a feeling that the people in charge of the PS2 Classics are just like us!

Haunting Ground is a game that I’ve been dying to play but was unable to do because of years without a Playstation 2. PSN is building quite the library of PS2 games that I miss or have missed out on. I’ve heard good things about Haunting Ground, some scary and others… disturbing. At $10, it will be hard to deny this purchase.

    Yes! This game has great atmosphere, a unique art style, and it’s a blast to play through. Hopefully this re-release will give more people a chance to play this underrated survival horror gem.

    this is one of my most favorite games of all time! A MUST play for every horror fan!!! I fell in love with the characters and story.

    One of my favourites too still have my PS2 version.
    If one played any of the ClockTower titles this game reminds me of those but with a dog ally.

    Now I wish Kuon and Rule of Rose get released on psn too the first reminds me somewhat of fatal frame/project zero a bit underrated too.
    RoR was not even released her in my part of the world because of stupid controversy.

    I was looking for this the other day in Gamechamp, but didn’t find it, so got the 1st Fatal Frame instead. Seeing this makes me want it again :/

    if you havent played it, its not too bad. only bad things are TONS of backtracking and terrible chase scene music. its a good game but personally i thought Clock tower 3 was much better. its 480p progressive scan which is a nice bonus and the graphics are awesome. check it out its a decent 7/10 game. just dont read the game informer review…scathing
