As far as patch names are concerned, H1Z1 is going about it the right way. Today the “Big Damn Patch” update hit Steam adding some tweaks, changes, and improvements to the early access zombie survival game.
A new player model is among the first things listed that have been updated. While the primary player model is still very much generic dude, he’s at least looking a bit more approachable than the previous. That counts during zombie survival times, guys.
The dam area in H1Z1‘s map has received a visual and layout overhaul, making it a more significant landmark. In addition to the map update, a new pistol has been added, zombies can now be looted to some extent, server optimizations have been made, and new crafting possibilities have been added.
The full changelog for the Big Damn Patch are available at the source. I might give it a try myself this weekend.
