Diablo III: Reaper of Souls officially announced
While I have yet to play Diablo III, the latest trailer for its DLC expansion Reaper of Souls is about to convince me to take the plunge. Activision Blizzard has announced the first story expansion to Diablo III and it looks pretty intense (at least from a story perspective). Forgive me if I’m wrong about all of this, but it appears that Reaper of Souls follows the betrayal of a fallen angel named Malthael that has stolen the black soulstone that contains Diablo himself. Based on the trailers, my guess is that players will have to find the Nephilim, a hybrid being of angel and demon, to put a stop to the fallen angel’s plans. Excuse me for me not detailing further, the trailers have really interested me in getting the game and I don’t want to spoil it for myself.
Reaper of Souls will be bringing about new content as well as a new story. A new character class called The Crusader has been shown as well as an increase to the game’s level cap. Along with that new environments and new enemies can be expected. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls was just revealed at Gamescom and a release date has not been announced.
