Dead Space Ignition : new info
The official site has opened for Dead Space 2′s interactive comic book prequel : Dead Space Ignition. This will be digitally released via the PSN and XBLA. Gameplay consists of an interactive comic book complimented by 3 hacking mini-games : Hardware Crack, Trace Route, and System Override. And to cap it all off, this will be in the style of a “choose your own adventure” story resulting in the player having multiple alternate paths to take and 4 endings to achieve. Depending on what ending you receive you’ll unlock rewards to be transferred to Dead Space 2 once it hits early next year. Screenshots are also available at the game’s hub listed below.
What are your thoughts on this? Would you easily shell out the cash for what is essentially a motion comic with some tacked on mini-games? Of course the Dead Space faithful will suck this up, including me, but what of those who are just getting interest in the series because of Dead Space 2′s E3 showing? Comment below.
