cjmelendez_Deep Silver and strategy guide maker BradyGames have teamed up to bring quite the useful app to the iOS market. The app will be a handheld version of the game’s map of Banoi Island and allow for gamers to track landmarks and their collectables. Some type of link to the app is also available so your real time discoveries are updated. The app will be available for the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch on September 6th for $2.99.
Something like this is incredibly useful for open world games, and even as a side inventory. While it’s a nice addition that I welcome for the future—Silent Hill, please have this—the price point didn’t do it for me. But hey, it will no doubt be an asset to a lot of people.
