I really wanted to love Dead Island. I really did. But, unfortunately, every attempt at a playthrough always resulted in disappointment. So, I’ll once again be giving this game a shot when Dead Island Definitive Edition hits store shelves on May 31.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release (priced at $39.99) will come complete with remastered editions of Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide, along with each game’s downloadable content. But wait, there’s more!
Players will also get a third game: Dead Island Retro Revenge. The game is a 16-bit, zombie-filled endless runner. I hope Commander Video makes an epic cameo.
