Dead By Daylight Bringing Halloween DLC To Consoles

Asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight will be celebrating Halloween a bit early this year, as console owners will finally be able to partake in The Halloween Chapter this August. Based on the classic slasher film Halloween, the DLC allows players to step into the shoes of iconic villain Michael Myers or series heroine Laurie Strode to either kill or be killed. The DLC was originally released for the PC version of the game last October.

Dead by Daylight released last month on consoles, soon after another asymmetrical horror title, Friday the 13th. While Friday the 13th was plagued with issues at launch, that didn’t stop it from selling well, becoming the most downloaded digital title on PSN for the month of June. No word yet on how Dead by Daylight is selling on consoles, but here’s hoping that Michael Myers can help Behavior Interactive compete with Jason Voorhees.

You can get all the details at the Dead By Daylight website right here, or check out the trailer down below. The Halloween Chapter will be hitting consoles this August for $6.99.
