Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller now available on Steam, GoG, etc

Feeling like a cross between TellTale’s The Walking Dead and the original Clock Tower, Cognition drops you into the shoes of F.B.I. agent Erica Reed, who is haunted by the death of her brother at the hands of the as-yet-to-be-found “Caine Killer”. Using her unique “Sixth Sense” that allows her to “see” the past–a handy tool for examining crime scenes, and extremely helpful for profiling her suspects. The story starts taking a turn for the really creepy however, when Erica begins to discover clues left especially for her (So dark the con of man?).

Just released for PC and Mac through online retailers like Steam and GoG, featuring four disturbing episodes and elements from all different corners of the gaming hemisphere (the inspirations seem to go as far and between and Deadly Premonition, Ace Attorney, Silence of the Lambs and, as previously mentioned, Clock Tower). Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller is getting high marks from all around, and features art direction overseen by comic book artist Romano Molenaar (X-Men, Batman, The Darkness) and a story co-written by former Sierra game designer Jane Jensen (Gabriel Knight, Gray Matter).

For those of you already invested in the series, Episode 4 released on Thursday, completing the season.
