Alan Wake 2 to be revealed this year?

I'm a college student with a huge passion for gaming; horror being my favorite genre. I like to write about games in my spare time. When I'm not writing, I'm playing or talking about them. Hopefully this continues into what ever future employment I find myself in.

It may not be much to go by, but Remedy Entertainment may be hinting at their true sequel to Alan Wake being announced this year. Earlier today a post linking to an Alan Wake franchise sale made mention of future Remedy news to be announced later this year. Sam Lake, lead writer of the Alan Wake series is also hyping the studios’ upcoming projects. Give us the goods, Sam!

While the news tease could be attributed to Remedy letting their all of their fans be aware of more project from them, the tease could be tied to the series. Remedy has already revealed that they’re working on a next-gen title, so it wouldn’t be a big surprise if it was Alan Wake 2. Remedy’s last project was iOS game Death Rally. Only time will tell.

    can they change were you have to shine light on attackers to kill them ,gets very repetetive,

      That’s, like… the whole game right there. I agree that enemies need to be more varied, but you can’t just take away the most unique part of the game.

      So to answer your question, no that probably isn’t going to happen.
