Oh wow you guys really need to play ZombiU. It’s one of the best survival horror games ever made. It didn’t sell that well and that is no surprise but people are still playing it and it’s getting more fans. It did get a few patches to fix some of the bugs and glitches. I can not say that enough it’s really good. Oh and it will not go to another system. It was made for Wii U. It was built around the Gamepad. If you ever plan on getting a Wii U get ZombiU. Highly recommended!!

Clear your pallet for Parasite Eve 2. It’s a bit of a departure from the original, and one of the last puzzles in the game, Einstein couldn’t have gotten on his own.

On creativity for horror-games, I wonder how developers do it? Do they start with the narrative and then move on to game mechanics? Does the idea just hit them on the head and then they go make a game? Maybe most just copy what was innovative before.

I think when we started playing video-games, we didn’t care much about anything else other than that we’re passing our time enjoying something very interactive and fun. I dunno what happened, but down the line, we started to focus on the story, game mechanics, and how good games look on the screen. I don’t think that’s bad but I do wish we had that glee and innocence back. It would make us enjoy video-games again.

This also goes to developers, I mean being creative means that everything is opened. They also must have that innocence and in my opinion, that will make games better. Instead of having an objective “this game will make you shit you pants” why not? “Hey what does scare me as an individual? is it Isolation? its it death?” and so on.
