Whispers in the Dark Ep. 21: Scream Into My Anus (E3 Special)

I'm a college student with a huge passion for gaming; horror being my favorite genre. I like to write about games in my spare time. When I'm not writing, I'm playing or talking about them. Hopefully this continues into what ever future employment I find myself in.

On this wonderfully horrible episode of the Whispers’ podcast, the whole gang reunites to discuss the past two days of E3. Zev returns to discuss his current predicament in Wisconsin as well. Games, conferences from the show, theories, hopes, and likes and dislikes are all shared by the crew.

We might get back together again later this week to finish off the E3 talk but no promises. E3 has been fun as usual and we’re all a little worn out from the news. We’ll strive to please you guys though; That’s what we live for.

    The differences between the city and the country appears to be the same in America is it is here in the U.K.

    I live in the country and generally people do say ‘hello’ to one-another, even if they don’t know each-other. Try doing that in London and people look at you as though they think you’re some kind of pervert.

    I’m a little confused.

    You guys didn’t seem that interested in The Last of Us which I thought looked absolutely amazing. Also, I thought Rourke would of been obsessed with Beyond becuase it’s essentially Heavy Rain meets Ghost Trick.

    Oh well.

    @Stuntman, I actually hadn’t seen that article when we recorded this, and I can tell you, I AM STOKED. Ghost Trick may be one of the best handheld games ever made, and I loved Heavy Rain (despite weird story problems)

      On a somewhat related note, I’m very disappointed Ace Attorney 5 and Prof. Layton vs Ace Attorney was a no show, and I’m sure Rourke is too. I’m hoping the latter was not scrapped because we haven’t seen anything of it since its debut trailer. Also, still no mention of an AA Investigations 2 stateside release (sigh).

      Overall, outside of RE6, Tomb Raider, and some other high profile games, I thought this year’s E3 really stunk — there were almost zero surprises.

      I enjoyed the podcast though! Will there be another this week?
