I’ve been wanting a Vita version of the HD Collection to happen for a while. Retro games are perfect for the platform, plus it’s looking like the PS4 won’t be backwards compatible so a PS3 edition will most likely only be a temporary solution

All blame should really go to Call of Duty and the people who continue to support that crap franchise. Every developer from Capcom to SquareEnix has specifically stated that they want to cater to that crowd of idiots because that’s where the money is.

If people want RE and Final Fantasy to go back to the gameplay of yesteryear stop supporting Call of Duty and FPS games.

Seriously, that genre of gaming has absolutely killed creativity amongst game developers.

As much as a major hardcore 4×4 Resident Evil fan that I am, I’m waiting for the inevitable “gold version” of this game before I pick up any DLC. I already spent $80+ on the game, the $20 more that I would need for DLC will be put towards the complete edition instead.
