Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D- Which character do you use the most?

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D has been out for a few days now and after many reviews (including our own) it seems like the overall reception has been mixed at best. From the whole saved game scenario to the general belief that there’s just not enough content here to warrant the price tag. Regardless, the game is truly a fun experience and going back to your favorite missions to try to best your high scores is a blast. So, for today’s installment of reHorror I’m interested to know just who your favorite character in the game is.

My favorite character has to be the sexy Jill Valentine (surprised?). Sure her face did take a hit in this game, as well as in Revelations, but hey she’s still the same STARS veteran. She comes equipped with a machine gun, shotgun and a trusty knife. Now, that’s a solid load-out but I was quite irked that she lacked a handgun. As many of the people I’ve played Resident Evil 5’s Mercs mode with can tell you, I’m a beast with the handgun. So, yeah, I was a little bothered by the lack of that weapon in her arsenal.

One of the best things about Jill’s moveset, in my opinion, is here melee attacks. From her hard-hitting knee drops to her downright brutal head grab, Jill is quite a powerhouse. The majority of my time with the game has been with her, going through a good chunk of the missions and replaying my favorite ones, especially mission 4-5. So, who’s your favorite character to use in Mercs 3D?

    Jill and Hunk so far. I love Hunk’s one-hit moves, but I like Jill’s weapons more.

    I love Jill RE3 outfit with Barry’s load out the samurai edge custom, magnum, and rifle. Hell Yeah!!!

    I have always been a fan of Jill, but I haven’t used her in this game yet. That will probably change when I’ve unlocked Jill’s alternate costume, but first I’d like to enjoin the newcomer Claire.

    So far I’ve enjoyed playing as Krauser or Claire the most. Both have nice melee moves and fun loadouts and, opposed to Krauser, Claire moves very fast.

    Uhm.. Claire.. Hands down.. I have always loved her, but now I love her even more.. I personally wish she had some knife melees.. but her melees are soooo much fun to do!! NECK KICK, and the One Two Kick one.. I forget what it’s called :P And there’s one more.. I forget haha but omg so much fun! :)

    The other people.. Well they have the same stuff in RE5.. so it’s nothing new.. :)

    I love claire, then again I wanted a counter part to excella, same type of items and cool melees. Claire has that, and she happens to be one of my favorite characters in general. I beat the game with her, plus the electric rounds are something I loved in RE 5.

    Chris. He’s the closest character to Leon you’re gonna get. Sucks he’s not in. Still would’ve been nice to have the option.

    it seems like everyone has forgotten that you can trade weapon sets for each character including one that no charactert has but you have to unlock them first of course

    I Enjoy Jill,HUNK,and Rebecca :D HUNKs one hit kill moves are great,but gets boring killing enemies so easily.Jills loadout+Moves are fun to use,and enjoy Playing as her aswell.Rebeccas loadout is fun,but i tend to die by the grenade launcher,not the Majini or Gannado.Also,i enjoy these characters in the games!Enjoy the game,and Happy Hunting fellow S.T.A.R.S. Veterans!
